LEEM/PEEM7

LEEM/PEEM VII

This year in August, the 7th conference on LEEM/PEEM will be held in New York City, NY (USA). The conference is jointly organized by IBM and the  Brookhaven National Labs. Follow the link to the conference webite for details (Link).

Dear Colleagues,

at the 2nd LEEM/PEEM user meeting in Paris the participants agreed to have a communities web page. This LEEM/PEEM users web page should act as a forum for the intense discussion and exchange of ideas among the community. It should serve as a platform for the exchange of data analysis software adapted for LEEM/PEEM images or movies, electron optics code, new design ideas, or tips & tricks. The experienced users agreed to act as an expert and provide answers on questions from the general user of the community.

The web page should also serve as a database for LEEM/PEEM publications & preprints and workshop & meeting schedules. There will be a list of all LEEM/PEEM sites and their homepages.

However, this web page should also represent the community and its results to the rest of the world. This will be done by basic introductions to the different techniques, by an image & movie gallery.

After the first few years, this web page urgently needed to be updated and remodeled. This has now been accomplished, and we hope that the new design will encourage LEEM and PEEM users all over the world to contribute to this forum.
